Epoché in the epic text: Comparison of Socrates and Aeneas*
The report presents an attempt to interpret the image of Aeneas from the poem of Vergil and compare it with Socrates. In the description of both Socrates and Aeneas, there are similar details, such as the influence of gods, the inexorability in the search for truth or homeland, the pursuit of fate. In addition, in the image of Aeneas, one can trace the elements of the skeptical principle of «ἐποχή».
