Commentary as genre of a moral narrative in the Middle Platonism*

The paper is about the Alexandrian commentary, becoming an educational strategy. The Pythagorean symbolism, allegorism and post-antique midrash is characteristic of Philo, biblical subjects become logical problems. If symbolism and mythology are viewed as geometric categories, is moral interpretation a consequence of the aporia or unknowability? Philo is compared with his contemporaries, evangelists in the practice of moral narrative.
