Paideia as a view of the real world: what should be changed in higher education?

The report considers Paideia as a versatile education, allowing to draw conclusions about events in the real life. From this viewpoint, the flaws of the modern technical education are analyzed. Also, the flaws of the modern liberal arts education are considered, taking into account Heidegger's concept of technology. Special attention is paid to "online education", so vigorously promoted nowadays.

Keywords: Paideia, education, technical, liberal arts, online, Jaeger, Heidegger
